Celebrity disc jockey, DJ Cuppy, has joined Manchester United after promising to do so if Odion Ighalo scores against Norwich City.
“As a Nigerian, I think it’s only right that if @ighalojude scores a goal today… I will officially join @ManUtd as a fan! #FACup,” she had tweeted.
After the former Super Eagle’s Forward handed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side a 51-minute lead, the ‘Gelato’ singer tweeted the large red circle emoji, widely believed to represent Manchester United.
She also retweeted a video of the goal from the club’s official Twitter handle.
The move apparently ends Cuppy’s search for a new club after she ‘broke up’ with Arsenal after their 2-1 loss to Brighton on June 20.
On Friday, she announced that her family was still adjusting to her breakup with the London side.
