Police in Oyo State have taken over the Agodi GRA residence of the deceased former governor, Abiola Ajimobi, ahead of his funeral on Sunday.
It was gathered that the state government and the Ajimobi family are in disagreement over ownership of the property.
While the family prefers to bury the late governor on the property, the state government disapproves of the decision.
Police patrol vans were parked beside the building, according to The Nation.
Oyo police spokesperson, Olugbenga Fadeyi, could not be reached for comments.
