Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi, the daughter-in-law of the late former Oyo governor, Abiola Ajimobi, says the incumbent Oyo governor, Seyi Makinde, cannot match the feats of Ajimobi, his predecessor.
Fatima is the daughter of Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, and is married to Ajimobi’s son, Idris.
She made the comments on Tuesday in response to a post by Segun Awosanya who tweeted with the handle @Segalink.
Awosanya had tweeted, “I don’t know how many people are glad to know that Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State cannot be guilt-tripped into endorsing a heist wrapped in emotions at the expense of the beleaguered people of Oyo State. I’m personally happy he saw through the shenanigans.”
Fatima responded, “Lol. half-truth is dangerous sha! SM can never ever ever come close to Ajimobi. Not your mate!!!”
Since Ajimobi died last Thursday, his family has been in a feud with Makinde.
Ajimobi’s widow, Florence, had on Saturday accused the governor of treating her husband unfairly during his last days.
