Media personality, Toolz, has announced that she had planned to spend her 38th birthday on an island somewhere but her plans were ruined by the coronavirus pandemic.
The United Kingdom-born presenter, whose real name is Tolu Oniru, made this known on Instagram on Monday.
“How my chweny chweny birthday was supposed to start on some island somewhere…but coro said no. Nonetheless happy birthday to meeeeee…,” she wrote.
Tunde Demuren, her husband of four years, with whom she shares a one-year-old son, Asher, also shared a sweet birthday message to her on the same platform.
He wrote, “I am forever grateful for the happiness and joy you have brought to my life . Happy Birthday babe.”
Toolz is not the only celebrity who has had their birthday plans ruined by the pandemic.
On April 17, Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya, said she had planned to celebrate her 31st birthday in Singapore but was prevented from doing so by the coronavirus travel ban.
