Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has revealed that his plan to post 59 Instagram pictures to celebrate his 59th birthday, was thwarted by his friends, especially comedians, Ali Baba and Real Warri Pikin, who shared 55 pictures between them.
The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State made the joke when he expressed appreciation for the birthday wishes he received on Instagram on Monday.
“I’m so overwhelmed. You guys rock. Where do I start from? You guys even stopped me from posting my 59 photos.
“Between @alibabagcfr and @realwarripikin they posted over 55 so I had to just settle for less. Its been so much fun all day. I’m going to use tomorrow to attempt acknowledging everyone… I can try abi?” he asked.
Richard announced his plans to share the 59 pictures on Saturday, then on Sunday he asked his followers if it was even possible to post so much pictures in one day.
The Chief Daddy star also received birthday messages from fellow Nollywood stars like Joke Silva, Ramsey Nouah, Kate Henshaw and Ufuoma McDermott.
