Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has been screened by an election committee set up by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr Akeredolu, tweeting after the screening on Wednesday, said the officials were thorough in their duties.
“I have just undergone screening by my party @OfficialAPCNg. Members of the committee were thorough, scrutinizing all documents amongst other questions. I believe the party made excellent choices of the committee members. Very professional and courteous,” he wrote.
Akeredolu, who was recently treated for coronavirus disease (COVID-19), is seeking a second tenure.
His deputy, Agboola Ajayi, is now a member of the Peoples Democratic Party.
