Senator Shehu Sani has called on the presidency to charge the suspended acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, to court.
The former federal legislator said in a tweet on Thursday night that he wants to be meeting Magu every day of the week in court.
“Charge the man to court make we dey regularly meet each other there, Monday to Friday,” he wrote, without mentioning names.
Sani has been mocking Magu on social media since the acting EFCC chief was arrested on Monday.
Sani, who used to represent Kaduna South Senatorial District, was charged to court under Magu’s watch on two counts bordering on bribery and advanced fee fraud.
Magu, on the other hand, has been in police custody since his arrest on Monday. He has been appearing before a presidential panel on multiple allegations of misconduct.
