Nollywood actress, Joke Silva, says she draws inspiration from her colleague, Bimbo Akintola.
Joke, 58, stated this in an Instagram post on Tuesday, adding that Bimbo, 50, delivers excellently in both English and Yoruba movie roles.
“Bimbo Akintola is an actress of whom very often I am in awe. She is what I call a morpher embodying whatever character she plays with amazing ease and seeming effortlessness – and she does with whether she is performing on screen or on stage,” Joke wrote.
“To crown it all, she brilliantly pulls off both English and Yoruba roles with equal ease. You inspire me @bimboakintola.”
Born in Ibadan, Oyo State in 1970, Bimbo shot to limelight after her appearance in the 1997 movie, Out of Bounds, which also featured Richard Mofe-Damijo.
