Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun is celebrating his wife Bamidele on her 54th birthday.
Mr Abiodun said in a Twitter thread on Thursday that he is “extremely blessed” to have her as his wife.
“Happy Birthday to my adorable wife and First Lady of Ogun State. My dear Bamidele, I am extremely blessed to have you as my better half and mother of our children,” the governor wrote.
“You are dearly loved, valued and cherished. You are my number one cheerleader, and I want to thank you again and again for your ceaseless support and prayers.
“You are and remain a philanthropic giver and a passionate supporter of the less privileged.”
“May the Lord grant you many more years to celebrate many more birthdays. May He answer all your prayers, and may you live to see your great grandchildren, all in good health, in Jesus’ mighty name. AMEN,” he added.
The first lady was born on July 16, 1966, to the family of Prof. Oladipo Oduye a former deputy vice-chancellor at the University of Ibadan (UI) and the late Abimbola Oduye both from Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State.
