Singer Harrysong has expressed disappointment at Nigerians joking about corruption and bad governance in the country.
The 39-year-old shares his thought in a video uploaded to Instagram on Wednesday night.
In the 90 seconds clip, Harrysong says recent revelations of graft and the country’s debt are not things to be made into skits or trend with.
“This is not funny, NIGERIANS, this is the time to stand and fight,” part of his post caption read.
Getting more revolutionary, the man born Harrison Okiri, called on President Muhammadu Buhari to rearrange his strategies, which he says are clearly not working.
Harrysong posted his video two days after acting managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Kemebradikumo Pondei fainted before the House of Representatives committee probing the agency.
The panel is investigating alleged mismanagement of N81.5 billion by the interim management of the NDDC led by Pondei.
His fainting spell has been reproduced in several skits shared on social media.
