The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has called off its strike in Lagos State.
Commissioner for information Gbenga Omotoso shared the news on Twitter on Monday.
NUPENG, had in a statement on Friday, directed tanker drivers to begin withdrawal of their services in Lagos from midnight on Monday.
The union said the strike became necessary due to failure of various authorities in the state to address some pending issues.
