Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has returned to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) party after his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2018.
The 38-year-old made this revelation on his Instagram page on Monday as he shared photos of himself, his wife and some party members.
He wrote: “Back to APGA. Nkea bu nke anyi! Yesterday, in the company of my beautiful wife, May Yul-Edochie @mayyuledochie. Nteje ward 5 APGA Chairman, Ikenweilo Kenneth Tochukwu, and my People Kelvin Okonkwo, Chioma Emenike @realchiomaemenike Kenneth Ejiubu.”
In 2018, the movie star resigned his position as the senior special assistant on creative and entertainment media to Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano, defecting to the PDP in support of Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition.
A year earlier, Yul unsuccessfully contested for the Anambra State governorship elections under the platform of the Democratic Peoples Congress (DPC).
