Nigerians on Twitter are expressing anger following news that Mamman Daura a nephew of President Muhammadu Buhari was reportedly flown abroad for urgent medical treatment on Wednesday.
Mr Daura was said to have been flown to the United Kingdom. First Lady Aisha Buhari, however, is yet to return from her medical trip to the United Arab Emirates.
With this development, Nigerians are berating the Federal Government for the lack of will to develop the country’s health sector. Some have resurrected the term ‘medical tourism’ to describe such trips embarked on by high-profile persons with links to the government.
