Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji celebrated International Dog Day on Wednesday with a picture of an adorable poodle.
The 41-year-old shared the image on Instagram and Twitter with the words “Hey there.”
She added paws emoji for full effect.
Asked by a Twitter follower what the name of the dog is, the Lionheart director said it is Red.
“Love you more,” fellow actress and dog lover Empress Njamah wrote in the comment section of Genevieve’s Instagram post.
International Dog Day is celebrated every year on August 26.
Its aim is to encourage people to adopt dogs who desperately need a loving family, and help rescue those suffering from abuse and neglect.
