Rose Siggins, the actress who played Legless Suzi in American Horror Story: Freak Show is dead.
According to TMZ, Rose went in for a kidney stone surgery on Monday, December 7 and never came out of the hospital alive.
Rose who was aged 43 died on Saturday morning in a Denver hospital in USA.
The actress reportedly contracted an infection, which spread through her body and ultimately became fatal.
A GoFundMe page set up to cover the cost of Rose’s treatment, updated fans on the sad news.
“I’m sad to report that Rose has passed away this morning around 7.30am,” her management team wrote in a statement.
“All funds raised will now be directed to final expenses and the continuing support of her children.”
Rose was born with a rare genetic disorder called sacral agenesis now referred to as spinal bifida.
She had no feelings in her legs as a child, and her feet were pointing in opposite directions. At two years old, her legs were amputated.
Rose who was the first person with sacral agenesis to carry a child nearly a full term is survived by her husband, David and two children, Luke, 16, and Shelby, nine.
She starred alongside Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and Emma Roberts in the fourth season of American Horror Story.
She was at the time of her death filming a documentary called Schlitzie: One of Us, according to IMDB.

The actress did not let her lifelong illness stop her achieving her goals – whether that be starring on the small screen, or starting a family.
“Getting around is slower these days,” she told the Huffington Post back in 2012.
“A lot of people with disabilities feel that life owes them something, and I was raised in a way that no one owes you a dime. The world doesn’t owe you anything.
“My personal opinion is, get up and go for it.”
