Davido is probably Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah favourite artiste right now.
While many Nigerian social media users are against the infamous draft bill that seeks to gag the press, pop singer, Davido, wants it to be passed.
The ‘Damiduro’ singer shared his thoughts on the matter in a Snapchat post on Monday.
“f**k that shit nigga! They should pass that f**king social media bill because niggas have been talking shit, Just wake up type shit. I don’t understand,” he wrote.
This reaction comes after the father of one was falsely reported to have impregnated his ex-girlfriend, Tanzanian model, Agnes Masogange, after the lady posted a picture of a HKN neckpiece and a pregnancy test that read positive.
Davido, on Sunday, ranted on Twitter accusing bloggers of not finding out the facts before actually reporting the news.
The Bill titled “Draft Bill to Prohibit Frivolous Petition and Other Matters Connected Therewith” is sponsored by the Deputy Senate Leader, Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah, who represents Kebbi South senatorial district and is avidly supported by several senators, led by Dino Melaye, from Kogi State.
