Nollywood actors Saidi Balogun, Antar Laniyan and Muyiwa Ademola on Wednesday, September 9 led their colleagues to celebrate Akin Olaiya on his birthday.
The celebrant had earlier in the day made several posts on Instagram, thanking God for another year.
“My first gratitude goes to my maker, the merciful and the omnipotent God, For the daily journey that began with a second, minutes, hours, and now 365 days, this is more than just a chance,” he captioned his posts.
Akin also celebrated 30 years in the movie industry, saying: “30 years on stage, it’s only your mercy that shown upon me, for all I have passed through and seen in the past, yet you kept me under your umbrella.”
Saidi in his Instagram post, said: “Happy birthday Akin Olaiya. May almighty Allah guide your ways always. @akin_olaiya keep smiling to success.”
Antar Laniyan assured Akin of more years of good health and wealth.
“Happy Birthday To You My Brother @akin_olaiya…. God Almighty Will Grant You Many More Years In Good Health And Abundant Wealth…. Ameeeen,” he wrote.
Muyiwa Ademola wrote: “A wonderful birthday shout out to my very paddy, brother and a great colleague. The good Lord that Has brought you this far will continue to uphold you Akin. You shall always have reasons to celebrate your birth @akin_olaiya . I wish you long life, good health, absolute happiness, enormous prosperity spiced with enviable creativities. Plenty love dear friend.”
Actress Bimbo Oshin also celebrated her colleague, writing: “Happy birthday Ishola @akin_olaiya May lines continue to fall in pleasant places for you. Igba odun odun kan ni. jaiye ori e jor.”
Actress Jaiye Kuti jointly celebrated Akin and birthday mate Akinola Bose.
She wrote: “Happy beautiful birthday to this my beautiful family. Igba odun,odun kan ni o. Wishing you the best now and always. Have a new fanatic year. @akinboss12 @akin_olaiya.”
