UK-based Dr Olufunmilayo Ogunsanya has been accused again of trying to take sexual advantage of another woman following the much-publicised rape allegation levelled against him by a female doctor Bolanle Aseyan.
A Twitter user known as Debo Odulana called out Dr Funmi on Friday, accusing him of attempting to take sexual advantage of his wife.
Dr Funmi had an online chat with the woman in question after she got a Chevening scholarship to study in the UK.
“I’m just here thinking, dude you just barely got out of one sexual scandal, you’re already sliding into the DMs of young women coming to the UK,” Mr Odulana wrote.
Dr Funmi debunked the allegation, saying he only had a harmless chat with the woman.
“I don’t know what this Debo character looks like. I have never met him in this life. But this guy won’t stop tweeting negative slander about me.
“He messaged me once to help push a project he’s doing- and I think I said no- since then he’s being slandering me every chance he gets,” he said.
Dr Funmi’s first accuser, Aseyan, was arraigned by the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) on September 9 before the Yaba Magistrates’ Court on allegation she falsely accused Ogunsanya of raping her.
Ogunsanya, who said they both had consensual sex after she manoeuvered her way to the UK, has been cleared by the agencies investigating the rape allegation.
