Actors Adebayo Salami, Jaiye Kuti, Lola Alao and others on Wednesday celebrated their colleague Laide Bakare on her 40th birthday.
Bakare, who is also a film producer began the day with an Instagram post, saying: “On this New year of my life, I’m ready for bright positive mood, high achievements, spiritual harmony, prosperity, and Good health, I welcome new ideas, self-Development and going to strive only for the best HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME AND MY BIRTHDAY MATES.”
She was joined in the celebration by others who also posted on Instagram.
“Happy birthday to you @laidebakare May Allah bless your endeavors and household. Cheers,” Salami wrote.
Jaiye Kuti celebrated the mother of three saying, “Happy beautiful birthday Queen. May the good lord bless your new beautiful age. Wishing you long life and prosperity @laidebakare.”
Lola Alao wished the actress well, writing “join me to celebrate my darling @laidebakare as she marks another year today.. 👍🤩❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Other colleagues who wished the actress include Adebimpe Akintunde and Ayo Adesanya.
Laide’s birthday is coming one month after her daughter Simi clocked 12 on September 3.
