Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has joined his England teammate Tammy Abraham in #EndSARS campaign which has swept through Nigeria.
The 22-year-old tweeted on Sunday in solidarity with victims of the notorious Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
“My thoughts and prayers with all of those affected 🇳🇬 #EndSARS,” Rashford wrote.
Abraham who plays for Chelsea had urged the Nigerian government via Twitter to heed to the demand of #EndSARS protesters.
SARS operatives have been involved in the harassment of young people, indiscriminate arrests and extra-judicial killings.
