Nollywood actress Bidemi Kosoko on Saturday celebrated her birthday belatedly following the shooting of protesters in Lekki, Lagos on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old wrote on Instagram: “In all situations we should always give thanks to God. In-between all these difficulties in Nigeria, I still have reason to celebrate.
“Happy belated birthday to me.”
Bidemi whose birthday was on October 21 could not celebrate because of the Lekki shooting on October 20.
However she posted a birthday note her daughter Adefunke wrote for her saying, “My daughter wrote these for me despite all that is happening, I could not even post my own pictures today my birthday.
“God please heal my land.”
