Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has released the video for her Omo Ghetto The Saga movie soundtrack titled ‘Askamaya Anthem’.
The 43-year-old shared a clip from the video on Instagram on Thursday.
In the video, Funke and Eniola rapped in English and Yoruba, Bimbo rapped in Yoruba while Chioma rapped in Igbo.
“Wowwwwww Sick bars Watch Funke Akindele Bello rap in her new movie, OMO GHETTO (The Saga) alongside Chioma Akpotha, Eniola Badmus and Bimbo Thomas in the Music video for the original soundtrack of OMO GHETTO (The Saga) titled #askamayaanthem,” she wrote.
‘Askamaya Anthem’ was directed by Funke’s husband Abdulrasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz.
On November 2, Funke released the first teaser of the movie.
She released the official trailer on November 27.
The prequel Omo Ghetto was released in 2010 starring Funke Akindele, Rachel Oniga, Taiwo Hassan, Yinka Quadri, and Eniola Badmus.
The movie is based on societal vices by a women-dominated gang.
Omo Ghetto The Saga will be released in cinemas from December 25.
