Nigerian video director, Kemi Adetiba, is 36-year-old today, January 8, 2016.
Born in Lagos, Kemi’s first media experience was as a child when she headlined two national television commercials for detergent brand, OMO.
The daughter of Dele Adetiba, a veteran in the advertising and broadcast industries, went on to become a radio presenter with Rhythm 93.7 FM where she hosted the hit shows, Soul’d Out and Sunday at the Seaside.
After years of success being in front of the camera, Kemi enrolled at the New York Film Academy to learn the ropes about being behind the cameras.
Today, she is one of the most celebrated music video directors with various awards including the 2010 Nigeria Entertainment Awards for Best Music Video Director to her name.
