Former Senate President Bukola Saraki and his wife Toyin Saraki on Thursday attended the service of songs for socialite and polo buff Dapo Ojora.
The deceased was Mrs Saraki’s older brother.
Saraki, who was governor of Kwara State from 2003 to 2011 before moving to the Nigerian Senate, spent a considerable part of the evening consoling his wife.
Held at the Lagos Polo Club, the service of songs attracted other family members, friends and associates of Mr Ojora who died on Friday, December 11.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock church delivered a sermon at the solemn event.
The funeral service for Ojora earlier scheduled for Friday, December 18 has been postponed to Tuesday, December 22 at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, Lagos.
Aged 58, Ojora died at his Ikoyi residence from gunshot wounds.
