Singer Korede Bello has gifted his manager Casper who he described as a ‘friendly ghost’ a car for his birthday.
Korede, 24, shared videos of his manager thanking God and getting surprised in an Instagram post on Friday.
In one of the videos gospel singer Tim Godfrey sang a happy birthday song for Casper.
The ‘Godwin’ singer said Casper had made sacrifices for him to be comfortable enough to sing the way he does.
“Over the decade, I have had a ‘friendly ghost’ around me, he has fought for me (sometimes with me 🤪), he has guided and guarded me from the wiles of this industry.
“Made sacrifices so I can be comfortable enough to churn out the sounds that have brought you all the joy you get to feel from my music. Omo!,” he wrote.
On his Instastories he shared a full video of the car revealing it as a Lexus.
Korede was signed to Mavin Records in 2014.
He is a graduate of Mass Communication from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism.
