Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has said goodbye to motivational speaker and security expert Ubong King who died of suspected COVID-19 on Saturday.
In an Instagram message written in Ibibio and English, the 49-year-old described the deceased as a source of blessing.
“In all the years I have known you, you were a source of blessing,” she said.
The actress revealed in a tweet that she had known Mr King for 15 years.
Born on August 22, 1972, King attended the Federal Government College, Lagos for his secondary school certificate before proceeding to the University of Calabar where he studied agriculture.
He was founder of Protection Plus Security Limited and president of The Kings’ Men World.
Known as “The Troublemaker”, King facilitated and spoke at leadership and management retreats within and outside Nigeria.
His Ubong King Foundation convened the maiden edition of Thinkation- a platform to encourage productivity among the Nigerian youth in 2018.
Aged 48, he is survived by wife Unyime -Ivy King and four children Adora-Edima, Jamon-Mfonabasi, Atara-Uyaiabasi and Sarah-Mbuotidem.
