Nollywood actress Sola Sobowale has penned a lovely note to movie director Kemi Adetiba on her birthday.
Sola, 57, shared pictures of herself and Kemi in an Instagram post on Friday.
She said she blesses the day she met Kemi.
“On set and off set, we stick to each other like glue. My darling Kemi, before today you have known, you are very dear to me. You are a gem and creative genius.
“The whole world is yet to see what you are capable of. I bless the day we met, it still feels like yesterday. Today is your day and from this moment on, you are entering a new level,” she wrote.
Kemi turned 41 on Friday.
She shared a video of herself in work mode on Instagram.
‘YEEEEEEEEEEES!!! It’s my bai-daaaaayyy!! Thankful for all the messages of every kind. I’m grateful to you all. God is good!!!” she wrote.
Sola stars as a major character on Kemi’s The Wedding Party and King of boys.
Kemi Adetiba directed her first feature film, The Wedding Party, in 2016.
The film grossed N453, 050,000 at the cinema.
Her King of Boys grossed N105 million at the cinema.
It was released in 2018.
