Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike has built a hospital in his hometown in Imo State.
Rapper Ruggedman said in an Instagram post on Thursday that he was announcing it because he loves to celebrate greatness.
He said: “I love to celebrate greatness and goodness. @emenike_9 builds a world class hospital in his state, Imo state with his own money.”
The musician added: “God bless you bro. May your pocket not know what lacking means in Jesus name.”
Emenike acknowledged Ruggedman’s effort on Instastories.
The hospital is expected to be commissioned in the coming days.
The 33-year-old who most recently played for Belgian club Westerlo had a brief spell with the Super Eagles between 2011 and 2015.
He was instrumental to Nigeria’s AFCON glory in 2013, scoring three goals in the tournament.
