Chief executive officer of Planet One Hospitality Company Limited located in Maryland, Lagos Shaka Momoh is dead.
Reports say he died on Thursday from COVID-19 complications at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
Gboyega Akosile the chief press secretary of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu tweeted news about the death and warned the public to keep safe.
“Flash: Shaka Momoh, renowned businessman and owner of Planet 1 events and hotels located in Maryland, Lagos is dead. Report says he died this morning from #COVID19 related complications…Stay safe out there!” he said.
A graduate of business administration from Auchi Polytechnic, Edo, Mr Momoh gave back to the society through Baobab Foundation.
