Contemporary highlife musician Paul Play Dairo has mourned Nollywood actor Ernest Asuzu.
The ‘Angel Of My Life’ singer shared a picture of Ernest and also told a lovely story about him in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
He said Earnest was full of life, bubbly and had an overwhelming charisma.
“R.I.P. EL Cream!!! That’s what we call him , @slamudoka and I used to stop by at his place in Sabo Yaba . He was full of life , bubbly and had an overwhelming charisma. PatSol studios was the joint then . He was a fantastic rap artist.
“We would hang out at Dominos share our struggles in the Entertainment Industry. When the break came calling, destiny sorted our trails and he went to Nollywood,” he wrote.
Ernest reportedly slumped and died around 9pm on Tuesday.
His wife was said to have called fellow actor Desmond Elliot to announce the death to him.
Ernest was active on the acting scene in the 90s up till 2015 when he suffered a stroke.
He rose to prominence with the 1997 film Rituals directed by Andy Amenechi.
