Soul singer, Timi Dakolo, is 35-year-old, today, January 20, 2016.
The ‘Iyawo Mi’ singer was born in Accra, Ghana to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother.
Timi started singing professionally in 2003 when he joined the band Purple Love. He went on to participate in the Idols West Africa Reality Show in 2006 where he emerged the winner beating out popular singer, Omawumi Megbele.
Since he ventured into the music industry, Timi has released over 10 singles and two albums.
He recently bagged three awards at the 2015 Headies for Best Vocal Performance, Recording of the Year and Best R&B single.
In 2012, the ‘Wish Me Well’ singer got married to Busola Dakolo. They have three children together.
Despite his many career successes, Timi has always defined himself as a family man. Whether in interviews or on Instagram, the singer is never one to shy away from flaunting his family.
