Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode on Thursday evening met with Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle in Abuja as part of consultations for his next move.
The ex-minister said they had a productive conversation on the country’s future.
“I had the honor, pleasure & privilege of spending much of Thursday evening with my friend & brother Gov. Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state in his Abuja home. We had a frank, cordial & productive meeting about the way forward for our nation. Thanks be to God,” he said in a post across social media platform.
In July 2020, Mr Fani-Kayode was given a chieftaincy title in Zamfara as the Sadaukin Shinkafi (meaning the warrior/hero of Shinkafi).
The honour, however, caused division in the emirate.
