Minister of aviation Hadi Sirika says his Facebook and Twitter accounts have been compromised.
He said in a tweet on Wednesday that although it had happened severally in the past, he was working to resolve the problem.
“This is to inform the general public that my Facebook & Twitter accounts have both been compromised. It happened a few times earlier. I am resolving the problem,” he said.
Mr Sirika also informed the public he has no Instagram account.
“Kindly be informed also that I have no Instagram account, I understand there is a fake one in my name. Apologies,” he said.
Sirika recently lost his chief of staff Ibrahim Idris.
The deceased has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
