Big Brother Naija season five star Kiddwaya celebrated his birthday on Friday, March 5 with his ex-lover Erica sending him a birthday message.
Kiddwaya and Erica met on the 2020 edition of Big Brother Naija show and hit it off a few weeks later.
After the show, they remained in public attention as several pictures of them together circulated the internet.
However, in an interview with The Punch in January, Kiddwaya stated that he was still in search for love.
He said, “I don’t think I have a love life. I think I have a life and I am trying to find love.”
His statement caused a lot of confusion among their fans and other social media users who believed they were still in a relationship.
In a question and answer session with his fans on Instastories in February, Kiddwaya cleared the air saying Erica was his girlfriend, but they were no longer a pair.
Kiddwaya recently revealed some online attacks from Erica’s fans after the breakup but said he was not affected because he was focused on building his brand and fanbase across the globe.
“I was focused on building my brand. I posted a message I got from one of her fans to let people know that people are pained about something. I put a caption, is it what it has come to now?” he said.
Despite the break-up saga, Erica took to Instastories in the early hours of Friday to send a birthday shoutout to the Benue born reality star who turns 28.
“Happy birthday Kiddwaya,” she wrote alongside Kiddwaya’s picture.
As of press time, Kiddwaya’s father Terry Waya was yet to make any social media post in celebration of his son.
