Comedian Mr Macaroni’s co-star Kemi Ikuseedun, alias Mummy Wa has said that she admires Nollywood actresses Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele and Mercy Johnson.
Mummy Wa revealed this in an interview with Punch published on Saturday.
When asked the actor she would love to work with, Mummy Wa listed Toyin Abraham and other actresses.
“This is really tough to answer because I like a lot of them. I have worked with one of them already and that is Bimbo Ademoye. She is one actress I love and admire. I would also love to work with Toyin Abraham though I have been on her set before.
“I played a cameo role in her movie, ‘Alakada Reloaded’. I would love to work more with her. I would also love to work with Funke Akindele and Mercy Johnson. I really admire these women,” she said.
Kemi also shared the story of how she got the name Mummy Wa.
“Debo Adedayo, aka Mr Macaroni, actually created the character, ‘Mummy Wa’. One day, he saw me acting in a skit of mine and he called me to be part of his skit the next day. He asked me to play the role of his wife. That was how the character was born,” she said.”
