Filmmaker Lancelot Imasuen on Monday shared fond memories of his mother ahead of her ninth death anniversary.
Lancelot posted a picture of his mother to Instagram, revealing how difficult it has been for him to live without her love and guidance.
“This beautiful woman here birthed me 50 years ago…next month it will be nine years since she left…but seriously, it’s not been easy…can’t stop celebrating your infectious love, never condemning, always welcoming, never minding our shortcomings…ah e hard ooo. Iye N’gie …Rest on …but honestly I miss you now as always,” he wrote.
Lancelot’s mother died at the age of 72.
The movie maker has worked in the film industry since the late 90s.
