R&B singer, Banky W, on Friday announced that he will be releasing three albums in 2016.
The EME act made the announcement on Snapchat saying “Shaydee is making your favourite 2016 album. My album will be a close, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Yeah I am making three, lol.”
While everyone is thinking about how impossible this might be, we have figured out what the three albums might be about.
First album
Recall that in 2015, Iyanya revealed during an interview with Hip TV that he will be dropping a new album with Banky W very soon. It is safe to say that 2016 is that year. Permit us to say the album might be titled Banky and Iyanya Take Over. It would certainly not be the first. In 2015, Olamide and Phyno named their collaborative album 2kings.
Second album
Banky has been prided has a diverse artiste who can sing R&B and still rap. While he is famous for being an R&B singer, it cannot be ignored that his first breakout single ‘Ebute Metta’ was a rap song. Therefore, he might be releasing a rap album that will show his strength as a rapper. Dare we say that his hit single ‘High Notes’ will be on the tracklist.
Third album
As expected, the ‘Yes/No’ singer’s third album would definitely be focused on strictly R&B. There is a chance he will belt out some pretty incredible notes in the album and will work with Cobhams.
Nevertheless, the 34-year-old might just decide to change one of the aforementioned album types for a visual EP instead. Fans will definitely be thrilled to have something like that.
