Chikodinaka Agidi has emerged winner of the Miss Abia State Beauty Pageant.
She was crowned on Sunday, April 11.
Her victory comes with a brand new car, N200,000 and one year modelling contract.
She will also get a seven days holiday trip to Dubai and support in America.
First and second runners-up went home with a cash prize of N200,000 and N150,000 respectively.
The pageant was organised by Hands Across the Globe Foundation in conjunction with Gees Concept Modeling Company and the Abia State Government to mentor young people on character and composure.
While announcing the new queen at Michael Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia venue of the contest, the state government said she will act as an ambassador and a role model to the younger generation.
To qualify, contestants must hail from Abia State or must have resided in the state for two year or more to be selected as a representative for each council.
Three queens – Miss Abia North, Miss Abia South and Miss Abia Central – emerged from a regional pageant ahead of the grand finale.
Chikodinaka contested as Miss Abia.
