The remains of Dorothy Yohanna, one of three students of Greenfield University, Kaduna who were killed following abduction from the school on April 20, have been laid to the ground.
Ms Yohanna was buried on Wednesday in the capital in the presence of family, friends and well-wishers.
The funeral service was held at the ECWA Goodnews Church, Narayi High Course, while her remains were interred at Barnawa GRA Cemetery.
The private university which is located at Kasarami along the Kaduna-Abuja highway in Chikun Local Government Area of the state was established in 2019.
Yohanna and two others were found dead last week after their abductors demanded N800 million as ransom for their freedom. Two other students were found dead on Monday.
Yohanna’s family have called for action from the federal and state governments to save those still in captivity and curb security challenges bedevilling the country.
But the state governor Nasir El-Rufai has maintained he would not negotiate with criminals.
