Veteran actor, Olumide Bakare, who is currently on admission at the University College Hospital, UCH in Ibadan, Oyo State is seeking financial help from Nigerians to undergo surgery.
According to a Facebook post by media personality, Babajide Moronfolu, Bakare has been diagnosed of heart/lungs diseases.
The post quotes Bakare as saying he could no longer bear the burden alone, and that Moronfolu should help him plead with Nigerians for financial and spiritual help.
“Orisun TV has taken the lead. Please join in raising funds for this great fantastic actor, Chief Koko of Koko close, Olumide Bakare. A/C No. 3872003592. OLUMIDE BAKARE. ECOBANK,” Moronfolu wrote.
Bakare first had a health scare in 2013 when he suffered a heart attack.
The Maami star however told Encomium Magazine in May 2015 that he had been treated in the United States of America.
