Former Nollywood couple, Saheed and Fathia Balogun, turned 49 and 47 respectively on Friday.
Saheed, an actor, producer and fuji singer was born in Enugu State, southeast Nigeria on February 5, 1967 but hails from Ilorin, Kwara State.
The graduate of Kwara State Polytechnic had his first experience on TV in 1978, when he presented the television program titled Youth Today on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
He produced his first movie titled City Girl in 1989.
Saheed has featured in several Nollywood movies including Angels Forever, Òfin Mósè, Family on Fire and Eti Keta.
His ex-wife, Fathia, was born Fathia Williams in Ukwara area of Delta State, southern Nigeria on February 5 1969.
She adopted the name Balogun in the year 2000 after she got married to Saheed.
The evergreen actress has won several awards including the 2008 and 2014 Africa Movie Academy Award for the Most Outstanding Indigenous Actress.
Like her ex-husband, she is also a movie producer with over six films including Aje Metta (2008), Farayola (2009), Awawu (2015) and Iya Alalake (2015) to her credit.
Saheed and Fathia got married in September 2000 at the Ikorodu Marriage Registry but became legally separated in January 2014.
Although Fathia is a mother to three children, she only shares two – Khalid and Aliyah-with Saheed.
