Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church Primate Elijah Ayodele on Saturday visited the Synagogue Church of All Nations to see Evelyn Joshua, widow of the late Prophet TB Joshua.
Ayodele was accompanied by his aides and top officials of his church. His visit came nearly a month after Joshua died.
The SCOAN founder died on June 5 after a church programme in Lagos.
During the visit, Primate Ayodele described Joshua as a gift to humanity and commended the deceased’s philanthropic acts and kind gestures to all and sundry.
He said the late cleric exemplified the teachings of Jesus Christ which is about loving everyone regardless of their belief and religion.
“Prophet TB Joshua lived a life that portrayed what Christ was all about: loving, caring for people without regarding their religion, belief, or any form of differences.
“The beneficiaries of Prophet TB Joshua’s philanthropic acts included Christians, Muslims in Nigeria and beyond. I want to encourage Mrs Evelyn Joshua to remain strong during this period,” he said.
Evelyn has been receiving dignitaries at the church since her husband passed on.
Joshua’s funeral will begin on Monday, July 5 and will be concluded on Sunday, July 11. The services will be broadcast live on Emmanuel TV.
