A meeting of southern governors has begun in Lagos with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the host.
The meeting comes weeks after the governors met in Asaba, Delta State capital on May 11.
The governors are expected to address the controversy around the banning of open grazing in the region, restructuring, fiscal federalism and calls for state police.
Governors who arrived early for the meeting include Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Adegboyega Oyetola (Osun), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), and Godwin Obaseki (Edo) represented by his deputy, Philip Shaibu.
Others are Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Emmanuel Udom (Akwa Ibom), Diri Duoye (Bayelsa), Willie Obiano (Anambra), Ben Ayade (Cross Rivers), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta), David Umahi (Ebonyi), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), and Seyi Makinde (Oyo).
