All Progressives Congress’ chieftain Bola Tinubu is not hospitalised as being reported by some media platforms, his aide said on Saturday.
Tinubu’s aide Tunde Rahman said in a statement that the former Lagos governor was certainly out of the country, but not hospitalised.
“He is not in any hospital. He has no medical problem that would require hospitalisation. Yes, he is out of the country at the moment. He will be back shortly,” Mr Rahman said.
Tinubu’s absence was felt during last Saturday’s local government election in Lagos and also during Saturday’s APC ward congress in the state.
Mr Rahman expressed shock at the way Tinubu is always reported to be sick anytime he is out of the country.
“It is shameful that perpetrators of this evil are not deterred by the fact that each time this fake news has been propagated, they have been proven wrong,” Rahman added.
