Pop singer and songwriter Omawumi Megbele popularly known as Omawumi has announced that her new album Love, Deep, High Life will be released on August 12, 2021.
The Delta-born made the announcement in an Instagram post on Monday.
“This album project is important to me and I am very intentional about it because I’m making a conscious effort to keep in mind timeless lessons that reflect on the way we live that we do not take into account,” she wrote.
According to Omawumi, the album features top-rated Nigerian artistes like Brymo, Waje, Phyno and Ric Hassani. It speaks on love, family, relationships and societal entanglements.
The 39-year-old gained attention as the 2007 runner-up on West African Idols.
She has since then released hit singles like ‘If You Ask Me’ and ‘Bottom Belle’.
