At least two students of the University of Jos (UNIJOS), Plateau State have reportedly gone missing since bandits killed 23 commuters along Rukuba road on Saturday.
Speaking with journalists in Jos on Tuesday, chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) UNIJOS chapter Jeremiah Dalong said three students were feared killed.
He also said five other students are receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital in Jos due to injuries sustained in a reprisal attack.
The management of UNIJOS had since suspended its second-semester exams and asked students to remain in their hostels after the government imposed a 24-hour curfew on Jos North Local Government Area.
Mr Dalong called on the Plateau State Government, Federal Government and UNIJOS management to urgently send food to the students stranded at the hostels.
