Chief of staff to the president Prof. Ibrahim Gambari has led a team from the Presidency to the wedding of Yusuf Buhari, son of President Muhammadu Buhari, and Zahra Bayero.
Zahra is the daughter of the emir of Bichi in Kano State Nasiru Ado Bayero.
A statement by the president’s senior spokesperson Garba Shehu on Thursday said the delegation included the ministers of defence, retired Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi, Agriculture, Sabo Nanono; aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika; and water resources, Suleiman Adamu as well as the spokesperson Shehu.
He said members of the delegation would stay back after the wedding to represent the president at the coronation of the emir of Bichi on Saturday.
