Former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Friday attended the wedding fatiha of Yusuf Buhari, son of President Muhammadu Buhari, and Zahra Bayero, daughter of the emir of Bichi Nasiru Ado Bayero.
The wedding took place in the ancient city of Kano with Governor Abdullahi Ganduje playing host to top personalities who flew in for the wedding.
In pictures posted on social media by presidential aide Buhari Sallau, the president was welcomed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi, Yobe State Governor and APC caretaker committee chairman Mai Mala Buni among others.
Buhari exchanged pleasantries with Jonathan and Atiku. The duo contested for the Presidency alongside Buhari in 2015 and 2019 respectively, but lost.
Other dignitaries in attendance include former Niger president, Mahamadiu Isoufou; minister of communications and digital economy, Isa Pantami among others.
