Nollywood actress Ireti Doyle has expressed her grief over the death of her colleague, veteran actor Victor Olaotan.
The 54-year-old wrote a tribute in an Instagram post on Friday.
“We fought. You fought. It’s time. There is more to be said.
“For now; we breathe. Rest Baba, Rest,” she wrote.
Olaotan was best known for his role as Fred Ade-Williams in the long-running soap opera Tinsel, where he played the husband of Sheila Ade-Williams (Ireti Doyle).
He was driving to a movie set in October 2016 when he had an accident around Apple Junction, in Festac, Lagos.
Businessman Femi Otedola and others contributed money for his treatment in Nigeria and Turkey.
Olaotan’s film credit includes Towo Tomo, Lovestruck, Three Wise Men, Lotanna, Remember Me and Voiceless Scream.
