Businessman and philanthropist Tony Elumelu on Saturday posted pictures of his meeting with former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo to social media.
The ex-Nigeria international presented a signed jersey to Mr Elumelu during the meeting.
Elumelu captioned the photos, “With @josephyobo1, the former captain of the Super Eagles.”
Details of the meeting was not revealed, although it is believed to be connected to the Super Eagles.
Yobo was in February appointed assistant coach of the Super Eagles. He replaced Imama Amapakabo.
The former Everton defender played in three FIFA World Cup finals in 2002, 2010 and 2014 and also starred for Nigeria in six Africa Cup of Nations finals in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2013.
He was captain of the team when the Super Eagles won their third continental title in South Africa in 2013. He also had 100 caps for Nigeria at the senior level.
